The stamped concrete it is a material that is not valued as it should, perhaps not everyone knows what it is and maybe they have it under their feet. If they have it and its name is healthy, they certainly do not fully know its potential, both aesthetic and performance. Let's see them!

Stamped concrete: processing

The processing is not complicated because it is in all respects and very simply one concrete layer. It can be spread on the ground or on a substrate, then proceed with the "print", once it is dry. It depends on the design you have chosen, it can be type geometric and abstract, or it can reproduce materials that we would like to see there on the ground the place of the stamped concrete.

The only difficulties of the procedure are the right amounts of cement or concrete to be identified and then mixed with special products, which vary in type and quantity depending on the environment to be paved. In the printing phase, shapes are needed to obtain the desired effect, they vary depending on the texture that we want to achieve. These shapes are a kind of stamp, made of soft and flexible material like the rubber or polyurethane rubber.

Molded concrete for outdoor floors

The stamped concrete it is very suitable for covering even very large external surfaces and on which one does not feel like it or has no budget to put other types of flooring. However, this should not fool us because as a cover it can be equally valid even if applied indoors.

I am not referring to the living room, even if you want, everything can be done, but in particular to interiors that need a certain type of flooring that certainly does not look like parquet. The industrial areas, warehouses, warehouses, cellars, just to give you some immediate examples.

Both inside and outside, the stamped concrete it can also be applied on vertical surfaces if necessary, introducing desired and suitable textures.

Printed concrete: advantages

When done right, the stamped concrete it is very elegant and manages to reproduce the textures of materials in an almost deceptive way, simulating very elegant and precious effects. A nice benefit because in fact it is not a superfixie that is ruined and nemless is very expensiveindeed, it is decidedly low cost and simple to apply.

Among its advantages we therefore find excellent resistance, costs and simplicity of application. The surfaces in stamped concrete they last a long time, without the need for major periodic maintenance interventions. The range of textures to choose from is practically infinite with the shapes that we produce according to the fashion of the moment or our tastes.

Printed concrete: laying

The installation takes place in several stages and starts with a casting of concrete about 4 centimeters thick. Already now we can proceed with the addition of pigments and then a release product is applied to remove the molds. You must let the printed concrete for 24 hours to then wash and polish the surface obtained.

You cannot stop the pose halfway and it also requires some specific equipment and specific materials to then give a good result like the ones we are seeing here in the images.

Printed concrete: price

It varies a lot from the size of course but also from the texture you choose. The cost is around 60 euros per square meter, including the cost of the material, installation and finishing. If there are particular needs at the time of installation, it is obvious that the price will only increase immediately and a lot.

Stamped concrete: external stairs

I took it for granted but it is not taken for granted. The stamped concrete it works well indoors as well as outdoors, vertically as well as horizontally, so even for surfaces that are not flat and not uphill but with steps. We also see it used for driveways or paved areas within gardens, around swimming pools, as well as to create ramps and driveways.
